Chocolate chip – Potato chip Cookie

My journey began along time ago to find the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. These are a little on the wild side, but I love a good salty and sweet combo. I recently made these for one one of my best friends birthdays, and they seemed to go over well with the crowd. These cookies are my new weakness, and soon to be yours.

{Chocolate Chunk & Potato chip Cookie}


2 1/4 cups of flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp kosher salt

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 small package of instant vanilla pudding mix (instead of sugar: makes cookies crazy fluffy)

1 cup (2 sticks) room temp butter

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1 semi-sweet ghiradelli chocolate bar, roughly chopped

1 1/2 cups crushed potato chips


1.Pre-heat oven 350 degrees.

2.In a large mixing bowl, cream brown sugar & butter. Add vanilla extract, and eggs. Add vanilla pudding powder, mix until creamy. Slowly add flour until completely mixed. Fold in chocolate chunks and chips.

3. I spoon messy piles onto a baking sheet, but the dough is dense enough to roll if you want a pretty cookie.

4. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes.

5. EAT when hot & gooey!
